I’m still alive & kicking

So the first 2 days passed and I’m writing this while in my hotel room. The first day’s night was the hardest so far as I think. Mostly because I drank too much alcohol with some local friends here. Still kind of recovering from last night. But also seeing and being part of the insane traffic where driving lanes are drawn on the asphalt but don’t exist. Also, people walking across the street where cars are speeding. Everyone is horning and flashing lights all the time… If I could describe it to my friends in Estonia then I would compare it to Tallinn’s traffic nervousness in rush-hour except without traffic jams but remove the lanes. Give everyone access to drive however they want – through the lanes, remove speed limits and ignore traffic lights.

Hurghada’s street

Little more about recovering from the first night… I’ve still got a bit pounding head occasionally. In the morning I couldn’t eat pretty much anything. Ate only a few handfuls or mostly drank some ananas juice.

The smoking… everyone is doing it. Even taxi-drivers while driving with clients and even in coffee shops and other food places. Most of the taxis are Hyundais, but there are also working Uber service which is more like premium class taxis here.

Tonight’s dinner we got pizza in one of the local pizzerias Bibos and I must admit it was a really good, nice and creamy taste. I took the beef pizza with extra spicey because if you know me then one thing I love is spiciness. I think it was one of the best pizzas I’ve got in my lifetime. Talking about spice then I’ve tried up to 3 million Scoville Unit hot sauces. But more of that in later posts.
