Few more days of 2019

Here we are… only a few days left in this decade and I’m wondering how it all went. Pretty much self-development I guess. You probably don’t know me so well, so what about the quick summary?

What did I do 2010-2019? Hmm…

  • Started programming more seriously by making my very first GTA SA:MP Roleplay server and ran it successfully many years where I got a lot of experience in different kinds of ways and friends.
  • I was very much socially awkward so I didn’t have any experiences with women either. Except for that one time in childhood where I got almost strangled to death. That’s for next time.
  • Attended Tallinn Polytechnic’s school on Computers and Computer Networks and now in university studying informatics.
  • I started working in different places.
  • Got my drivers license.
  • I bought my very own expensive computer and a decent car. I tried making an IT company with friends I got from Polytechnic school.
  • I moved from making video games to making video game servers.
  • Going on a trip to Egypt in about 10 days, haven’t been out of the Baltic region never before.
  • Ported GTA:V game server code from GTA:VMP to GTA:Network to GTMP to RageMP and now to FiveM. Pretty tired of it to be honest.
  • Served my mandatory military service.

Wow expected that list to be less dense. Thank you all who’ve been part of my last 10 years. Let’s hope our paths cross in the future and make the next 10 years as good as this. Can you remember what have you done in 10 years of span?

  1. Pretty much nothing significant to be honest… Learned HTML, CSS and basics in PHP & Javascript… Made some decent web designs for mybb… Took over the hard work you did on the GTA SA:MP server at some point, before that polished my skills on my own communities…. Loved the last years summer party tho… Was fun to see everyone, well almost everyone for the first time in real life. Other than that i guess many would say i’ve wasted my time… Mostly im glad of the friends i’ve made in the last “decade” and been able to trust them and keep them.

  2. Oh damn – 10 years is a long time indeed. We went to school together by then. Despite I don’t remember the details, I find my decade to be similar to yours. Even GTA:V madness can be relatable to my work – we were both close to going crazy. Well, have a nice trip!
