Because last time I had a really bad experience (mostly because of my fault).

The journey begins after I got out of the surgery room. I remember going to the booth to pay my bill. But unfortunately for me, there was a line. So I had to wait for quite a bit. Finally, I paid my bill and headed out. But while waiting in line I felt how the anesthesia was wearing off and when I got out of the building the pain was pretty much at full motion. I felt like someone was banging with a baseball bat to my jaw constantly. But I had a mission! I had to get to the pharmacy to get some anti-biotics if I remember correctly. The walk from the tooth fairy building to the pharmacy was about 400 meters, but it took me like 20 minutes to get there. Because of the pain, I had to make a resting stop like every other street lamp and it was so intense that my vision even got blurry and the head was dizzy at sometimes. While walking I felt like at the end of Dead Man (1995) where Johnny Depp walked towards some village main house.

Picture from Dead Man (1995)

When arriving at the pharmacy I had to take the line ticket where was the number on it. Believe me or not but the line number was 666. When I saw that then I was like “Well if this is the end then so be it.” Anyway, I got what I came for and headed towards the bus stop – another around 400 meters.

Can’t remember much of the bus ride, only that every bump on the street that bounced the bus was hurting as hell. When I got off I made my way to the nearby shop. Bought a brick of icecream and held it on the spot it where it hurt the most while walking towards home which was a little bit more than a kilometer away. But the night didn’t end there.
After I arrived home I laid down, but because of the pain I couldn’t figure out the instructions which was given to me in the surgery room after the operation. So I did the exact opposite to stop the bleeding. After few hours when the pain withdrawed a bit (or I just got used to it) I was confused that why the bleeding still didn’t stop. So I read the instructions again and then I understood what I was doing wrong. But the whole time I bleed from mouth, if I remember correctly then I bled for 5 hours straight or so.

Oh and about eating, I didn’t prepare for it at all that time. Now I already got myself yogurths, instant noodles and other soft tasty foods.

But then again the Fastelavn event is coming which is also one of my favourite day of the year. You can read all about the tradition from here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fastelavn. But I the main reason I like that day so much is because of the fastelavnsboller. And I bought a punch of them (already ate them all) because after the surgery I can’t eat them with enjoyment for a like a month or more.

Fastelavnsbollers

I hope it all goes better this time…

So I’m getting one of my wisdom teeth pulled this Friday and I’m pretty scared of it.
